Jackpots: $38.5 million won in N.J.; $96 million tonight

New Jersey got a piece of a big jackpot last night, and Pennsylvania has a shot at an even bigger one tonight - $96 million in Powerball.

Two tickets - one sold at a Union, N.J., grocery store, the other in California - hit all the numbers drawn in the Mega Millions lottery, played in a dozen states.

They'll split a jackpot with an annuity value of $77 million - or $38.5 million each.

The numbers were: 8, 21, 29, 34 and 37, with a Mega Ball of 15.

New Jersey also sold two of the seven tickets worth $250,000 for having all the numbers except the Mega Ball. California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Virginia each had one such winner.

For selling a jackpot winner, the Buyrite Supermarket, at 965 Maggie Ave. in Union, will get $10,000.

The $250,000 tickets were sold at the U.S. Route 1 Exxon, 2890 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, Mercer County, and the Gulf Express, 46 Ryan Rd., Manalapan, Monmouth County.

The Mega Millions jackpot reboots to $12 million for Friday's drawing.

Powerball is played in 31 states, including Delaware.

Three years after the Nov. 20, 2006, discovery, the killings of Kim Raffo, Molly Jean Dilts, Barbara Breidor, and Tracy Ann Roberts remain unsolved. Some advocates say that because the victims were prostitutes, their deaths are being forgotten by society and officials.
