Police are investigating the shooting death of a teenager found mortally wounded on a Center City street early yesterday.
The victim was identified today as Rahfeak Anthony Griggs, 17, of the 2200 block of McKean Street in South Philadelphia.
Police found Griggs shot in the back at Seventh and Spruce Streets shortly after receiving a call around midnight that a body was there.
He was pronounced dead at 12:31 a.m. at Jefferson University Hospital.
Police, who are seeking a suspect, have not disclosed a possible motive in the shooting.
