Powerball powers up again

Sorry, you didn't win the big one last night.

Sorry, you didn't win the big one last night.

So on Saturday there's a shot - a very, very long shot - at an even bigger one.

$195 million.

That's Powerball new annuity jackpot, because no one hit all of the latest numbers.

They were 23, 30, 31, 35 and 42, with a Powerball of 6.

One ticket in North Carolina won $1 million for having all the numbers except for the Powerball, while having the Power Play multiplier option.

Five other tickets hit for $200,000 each by having the regular numbers without the Power Play. Two were sold in Idaho, one each in Connecticut, Minnesota and Missouri.

Powerball is played in Pennsylvania, Delaware and 28 other states.

Three other multimillion-dollar jackpots also rose this week.

Pennsylvania's Super 7 rose to $7.55 million Tuesday night.

New Jersey's Pick Six is offering $20.2 million tonight - its biggest amount since November 2005.

That's a better play than 12-times-tougher-to-win Mega Millions, even though that multistate game also rolled over.

Its jackpot for tomorrow night's drawing: $16 million.

Mega Millions is played in 12 of the most populous states, including New York, Texas and California.
