'Extremely critical' after shooting outside N. Phila. Popeye's

A 42-year-old man is in "extremely critical" condition after being shot near a Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen restaurant in North Philadelphia.

According to police, the man was on the 4200 block of N. Broad Street in the city's Hunting Park section when a gunman began firing. Officer Tanya Little, a police spokesperson, said the man had been hit in the chest. The man, who remains unidentified, was rushed to Temple University Hospital, she said.
