Wet, cool start to week, nice by weekend

Light rain is expected throughout the day in Philadelphia, with highs in the upper 50s in Philadelphia. It should also be the breeziest day of the week, with gusts in the teens midday and into the afternoon.

This evening the rain starts becoming less certain, with a chance throughout Tuesday into Tuesday night. Tuesday's high should be in the low 60s.

In all, perhaps an inch of rain might fall in Philadelphia, most of it today. Areas to the south can expect more, areas to the north less.

Starting Wednesday, skies should be dry as temperatures warm a bit through the weekend. Highs should range from themid 60s Wednesday and Thursday to the upper 60s Friday and Saturday to low 70s on Sunday.

Friday and Sunday look to be the sunniest days.
