Police have released video of a shooting that erupted early Saturday during a robbery in Fishtown.

Police said a 25-year-old man was walking with two friends on the 100 block of West Thompson Street when, shortly after 2 a.m., a late-1990s green Ford Explorer pulled up beside them.

Two unknown men got out of the car and allegedly pointed guns at the men, demanding their property.

When the victim refused, police said, one of the suspects opened fire, striking him once in the left leg. The second man then allegedly took a wallet containing identification and $70.

Police said the victim and his friends fled the area and called 911. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as two thin black males between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. Police said one of the suspects was about 6-feet-2 inches tall and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with his face covered. The second suspect was about 5-foot-8 inches tall and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
