Two teens injured in Kensington shooting

Two teens were injured Saturday afternoon during a shooting in the Kensington section of North Philadelphia.

Police said the victims, males aged 18 and 14, were walking down Atlantic Street near Frankford Avenue shortly after noon, when they heard four to six gunshots and saw an unknown man firing at them.

The 18-year-old was shot once in the right leg, while the 14-year-old was shot multiple times, police said.

Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the gunfire, and no arrests had yet been made Saturday afternoon.
