Top prizes hit in Powerball, Monopoly Millionaires Club

The 2 games together created 22 millionaires.

Grand prizes were won over the weekend in two of the three national lottery games.

A New Jersey ticket won Monopoly Millionaires' Club's first-ever top prize, worth $21 million, on Friday night, followed on Saturday by a Missouri ticket scoring a Powerball jackpot worth $202.6 million as an annuity.

In the process, another 20 players won $1 million, including two in Pennsylvania (one in each game).

The most anyone won in Friday's Mega Millions drawing was $25,000.

Powerball. A single Missouri ticket matched all the numbers drawn: 9, 19, 33, 38 and 54, with a Powerball of 15. Expect the winner to opt for the cash jackpot, worth about $127 million.

Six tickets won $1 million for matching the first five: two sold in Florida, one each for Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina and Oregon.

The Pennsylvania ticket was sold at the Giant Eagle, 3701 Route 88, in Finleyville, about 15 miles south of Pittsburgh.

The Powerball jackpot rebooted to $40 million for Wednesday night's drawing.

Monopoly Millionaires' Club. The new national game, offering its $5 tickets in 22 states and Washington, D.C., lived up to its slogan of "making more and more millionaires." When one set of numbers scores the top prize, a second set of numbers becomes eligible to win $1 million each.

So when the New Jersey ticket matched 1, 9, 11, 12 and 27, plus the "property number" of 18 (which also stands for the B&O Railroad in a third part of the game), that led to 14 numbers being chosen as $1 million winners.

The Jersey ticket was bought at the Highland General Store on Highland Lakes Road, in Highland Lakes, in the state's northernmost county, Sussex.

Pennsylvania had one $1million winner, sold at the Turkey Hill at 140 W. Lincoln Street, in Shamokin, Northumberland County.

Here are the numbers worth $1 million:

Arizona: 0221-0004-2175
District of Columbia: DC 0003-001217

Mega Millions. Tuesday's jackpot will be $20 million for the annuity, $12 million for the cash, because no one matched all the numbers drawn Friday night: 31. 35, 41, 65 and 66, with a Mega Ball of 5. The three biggest winners matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball while having the $1 optional Megaplier (which came up 5), for $25,000.

An annuity jackpot worth $326 million -- the game's eighth biggest ever -- was hit in the Nov. 4 drawing by a New York ticket.
