A 16-year-old boy was found with a bullet wound to the head inside a North Philly apartment this afternoon and was pronounced a short time later at a nearby hospital, police said.
Officers found the unidentified teen inside a home in the 1600 block of Wallace Street and he was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m., police said.
Police did not immediately identify a cause to the shooting, but the preliminary investigation indicates it was a homicide. Police said no gun was found at the scene.
