Road closures and public transit detours remain in place in Old City this morning after Wednesday's fire at the Suit Corner building.

Market Street remains closed between 2nd and 4th streets, and 3rd Street is shut down between Chestnut and Arch streets.

The roads have been closed since the store at 3rd and Market caught fire at about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Several SEPTA bus routes are also still affected this morning by the street closures.

Routes 17, 21, 33, 42 and 48 are terminating service at 5th and Market streets. Route 57 buses are being detoured.

SEPTA said the detours are expected to remain in effect until noon on Sunday.

Route 5 buses, which had been stopping at 2nd and Arch, resumed normal operations shortly before 12:30 p.m. today.
