Steamy July 4th in Philadelphia region

It's a steamy, sticky Fourth of July in Philadelphia.

Today should be mostly sunny, the National Weather Service says, with a high temperature near 91 degrees.

The heat and humidity started early, with temperatures remaining in the mid-70s overnight and 85 percent humidity this morning.

The weather service says there's just a slight chance of an afternoon rain shower or thunderstorm today.

Similar weather should continue over the weekend, with high temperatures of 91, 93 and 90 degrees forecasted for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A chance of rain exists for all three days, with Friday the least likely to see showers and Sunday having the greatest potential for storms.
