Slovenian citizens arrested for Main Line pot operation

After police arrived at a Main Line home to "an overwhelming smell of marijuana," they arrested two Slovenian nationals on charges of running a pot operation out of the house, officials said Thursday.

David Knap, 27, and Samuel Zuscin, 24, were taken to Chester County Prison on Wednesday after waiving preliminary hearings and failing to post bail.

Police were called to the home in the 100 block of Maple Avenue in Paoli about 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, and during a search later that day they found five pounds of marijuana, both growing and already cut, and paraphernalia for growing more, police said.

The two were charged with intent to deliver and possession.

They are awaiting trial and action on federal immigration warrants, police said.
