Shuttle buses to replace SEPTA trains in Norristown today due to track work

Shuttle buses will replace trains today on a section of the Manayunk/Norristown SEPTA Regional Rail line.

The transit agency said it will use buses to transport riders between the Elm Street, Main Street and Norristown Transportation Center stations, starting at 8:30 a.m. today.

SEPTA says the buses are necessary due to emergency track work.

The bus service will be in effect until further notice, SEPTA said. The agency offered no timeline.
