Sheena Parveen: A quick look at weekend weather

A dry cold front will move through the area today and will bring a mix of clouds and sun, highs in the low 70s.

Another cold front approaches for Friday — this one with rain. Some showers could arrive for the morning, mainly spotty showers, highs still in the mid-upper 70s, then mostly rain around the evening rush. It should be clearing out for Friday night plans.

Saturday we'll see gradual clearing, rain south, developing sunshine and breezy winds. Highs around 65 degrees.

Sunday will be sunny, less wind, highs in the mid 60s. Perfect football weather!

Next week we start in the mid-70s for Columbus Day.
