Search resumes for missing boater in Delaware River

Crews have resumed their search for a man who went missing in the Delaware River after his sailboat capsized Wednesday evening.

Philadelphia police said rescue teams began searching for the 66-year-old man again early this morning.

The man was last seen in the river around 8 p.m. near the 5200 block of Pennypack Street in Holmesburg.

Crews called off the search after about three hours as storms intensified.

The sailboat had been carrying five people when it overturned; the other four made it to shore.
