Police are crediting an off-duty SEPTA bus with helping transport a man to the hospital after he was injured early Saturday during an attempted robbery in Strawberry Mansion.
The victim, 29, suffered a graze wound to the right shoulder shortly before 6 a.m. as two men tried to rob him near 33rd and Berks streets, according to investigators.
He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital by a private vehicle and an off-duty SEPTA bus, police said.
The man was listed in stable condition Saturday afternoon. No arrests had been reported.
