Route 70 reopens in Cherry Hill

Route 70 has reopened after having been closed since Tuesday evening as crews repaired downed electrical wires.

Cherry Hill Township and police officials said Route 70 at Cuthbert Boulevard was opened to traffic in both directions around 6 a.m.

The work had been expected to cause problems for motorists on the busy highway during the morning commute, though some lanes were reopened later Tuesday night.
