Teen missing from West Philadelphia home found safe

Police have found missing teen Kalis Adams, of West Philadelphia.

UPDATE: Kalis Adams, 14, has been found and appears to be in good condition, investigators said Sunday afternoon.

Police said the teen was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for evaluation and reunited with his family.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police are looking for an autistic teen who went missing from his West Philadelphia home Friday morning.

Kalis Adams, 14, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. at his residence on the 6200 block of Carpenter Street, according to investigators.

Police said that, in addition to autism, Adams suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

He is known to frequent the YMCA on the 5100 block of Chestnut Street.

Adams is described as 4-foot-10 and 93 pounds with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue sweatpants and blue-and-black Nike sneakers.
