Police have made an arrest in a shooting last month in Wilmington, Del. that left a man in critical condition.

Anmed Ifill, 28, is charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses.

Investigators said Ifill shortly after 2 p.m. Jan. 13 shot a 25-year-old man in the head on the 1300 block of Vandever Avenue. The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Detectives responded Tuesday to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, where Ifill was jailed on unrelated offenses, and booked him on the charges. Ifill is being held on an additional $400,000 cash bail.
