Police ID man shot to death in Hunting Park
A man was fatally shot Wednesday night in the city's Hunting Park section, police said. Just before 9:50 p.m. in the 4200 block of North Franklin Street, the man was shot multiple times on the steps of a property, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Police on Thursday identified the man who was fatally shot Wednesday night in the city's Hunting Park section as 22-year-old Saleem Quadir Brown, of the 2000 block of North Wanamaker Street in Overbrook.
Just before 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, in the 4200 block of North Franklin Street, Brown was shot multiple times on the steps of a property, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Police reported no arrests.
