A Philadelphia police officer was arrested at the Houston Texans' stadium Sunday for resisting arrest, according to the Houston Police Department and the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
Houston police were called to the Crown Royal Saloon at Reliant Stadium in Houston around 2:40 p.m. Sunday during the Texans-Colts game for a report of a disturbance. Details surrounding the nature of the disturbance were sketchy, but Houston police spokesman Kese Smith said Neil Kohler, 46, was arrested for resisting arrest. Kohler is accused of pushing the arresting officer and was the only person charged in relation to the incident, Smith said.
Kohler later identified himself as a Philadelphia cop to Houston authorities, according to Smith.
Kohler was released on $1,000 bail and has a court date scheduled back in Houston on Dec. 26, according to the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
