Authorities are investigating after a person was struck by a SEPTA Regional Rail train in Overbrook this afternoon.
SEPTA said the person was hit by an inbound train on the Paoli-Thorndale line near the Overbrook station at about 1:20 p.m.
The nature and extent of the person's injuries weren't immediately known, and details about the victim's identity weren't available.
The transit agency said the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
Trains on the Paoli-Thorndale line are continuing to run, but SEPTA was warning riders to expect delays of up to 20 minutes.
