Mendte's house arrest set to end

Larry Mendte's six-month house arrest will end Monday, when the U.S. Probation Office will remove the monitoring equipment that's made him a prisoner of his Chestnut Hill home.

Mendte pleaded guilty in the summer in federal court to cyber-spying on former CBS3 colleague Alycia Lane and passing sensitive info to gossip columns.

Meanwhile, Lane's civil lawsuit, in which she alleges Mendte and the station ruined her career, continues. Mendte, who has not divulged his next career move, still has to serve 2½ years of probation.

Speaking of people with too much time on their hands.. look at you yo yo's! You are making comments on a newsfeed that has all of the factual information on it, and stating complete falsehoods....speaking of INANE, bhs1944, Larry did not send pictures of Alyssa anywhere. Read or watch the news dummy! He served his time and more importantly his wife Dawn Stensland, who has done NOTHING except make the best decisions she could for her two little boys, is yet again being made fun of by "low class" jerks like you JOEACE. How about practicing what you preach, get off the computer, out of other people's business and leave the Mendtes' alone.

Pretty shameful that someone as low class as Alycia Lane, a woman who sent bikini photos via email to NFL Network's Rich Eisen, who was married and called a female cop a vicious epithet after yelling "Do you know who I am?!", will reap a huge financial reward for such classlessness because Mendte did something so scummy.
