Man shot during robbery in Frankford

A man was is recovering after he was shot Saturday afternoon during a robbery in Frankford.

Police said the victim, 23, was shot in the left foot shortly after 2 p.m. on the 5200 block of Akron Street.

He was taken by private vehicle to Aria Health's Torresdale Campus, where he was placed in stable condition.

No arrests were reported Saturday in connection with the incident.
