Man killed when dump truck overturns in Delco

A man died after the dump truck he was driving overturned in Aston Township this morning.

The crash happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. on the 3900 block of Concord Road.

The driver was the only person in the truck, which was carrying concrete, according to Aston Township police. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The man's name was not released because his family members are still being notified.

The road remained closed as of mid-afternoon as crews work to remove the truck. Police said the street would likely stay shut for a couple more hours.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
