Man fatally shot in Camden


Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 41-year-old man in Camden.

Arthur Banks was shot multiple times in front of a home on the 100 block of 24th Street at about 7:45 p.m. Monday, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.

Authorities did not release other details about the killing and said the investigation into Banks' death is ongoing.

The slaying is the third homicide in Camden this year. Last year, the city saw a record 67 killings.
