Man dies after shooting, car crash in North Philadelphia

A man died overnight after he was shot before crashing his car into a building in North Philadelphia.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of Seybert Street around midnight to respond to the crash, which caused hundreds of bricks from the building to topple on to the vehicle.

An unconscious man was pulled from the vehicle, and investigators believe he had been shot multiple times before the accident, according to the Philadelphia police homicide unit.

The man was pronounced dead, and homicide detectives are investigating.

No other information about the victim was available.

No arrests were made and police had no description of any suspects.
