Man, 14-year-old boy shot in Logan

A 14-year-old boy was among two people shot Friday night in the Logan section of North Philadelphia.

Gunfire broke out shortly before 5:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of West Ruscomb Street, police said. 

The 14-year-old was shot once in the left leg and rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was placed in stable condition. 

A 27-year-old man was also shot once in the left leg and taken by private vehicle to Albert Einstein Medical Center, police said. He was also listed in stable condition. 

It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the shooting. No arrests had yet been made Friday night in connection with the crime.
