A female inmate who was found dead Saturday morning in Bucks County Prison of apparent cardiac complications - the second death at the facility in the past seven months - was identified by authorities Monday.
Marlene Yarnall, 49, of Bensalem, was found in her cell at the prison around 11 a.m. Saturday, said Bucks County spokesman Chris Edwards.
Edwards said Yarnall, who was in a detox treatment program at the prison, had "multiple pre-existing medical conditions," and that there are no indications of foul play.
A 29-year-old female inmate was found dead at the prison last September. There were no signs of foul play in that incident, officials said.
Edwards said Yarnall was incarcerated starting March 19 for a parole violation, and had been taking her recommended medications for the detox program.
While an autopsy has been performed, the results of a toxicology test were not back as of Monday morning, according to Edwards.
Yarnall pleaded guilty in January to charges including possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to two years' probation, according to court records.
Last year, Yarnall pleaded guilty to theft, records show, and she received five years' probation in 2009 after pleading guilty to robbery, simple assault, and other charges.
