Images of Pennhurst still haunt

The Pennhurst State School and Hospital in northern Chester County has been closed since the state ordered it shut down in 1977 amid allegations of abuse. Its current owners want to stage a haunted house attraction for Halloween. Opponents say it makes a mocker of what went on there. Regardless, the Pennhurst grounds make for haunting images.
