'Hurricane' Schwartz: More of the same

Another cloudy, drizzly and cool day Thursday.

Then it gets even nastier Friday, with more widespread rain, some heavy. The slow-moving upper-air system will move so slowly that we won't clear out much Saturday, but some sunshine should at least bring temperatures back into the 60s.

Then the pattern becomes warmer and drier starting Sunday.

Here is the forecast for the next week:

  1. Thursday: Cloudy and chilly with a chance of drizzle or light rain. High: 56.

  2. Friday: Periods of rain, heavy at times. High: 56.

  3. Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. High: 66.

  4. Sunday: Becoming partly sunny and warm. High: 72.

  5. Monday: Partly sunny and warm. High: 76.

  6. Tuesday: Partly sunny and warm. High: 82.

  7. Wednesday: Partly sunny with a chance of thunderstorms. High: 84.
