Four fall ill from gas leak in Holmesburg

Four people were being evaluated Tuesday afternoon after a gas leak filled a Northeast Philadelphia home with toxic fumes, fire officials said.

"Four occupants are being evaluated at this time," Chief Clifford Gilliam said.

The leak, which filled the home on the 4700 block of Meridian Street in Holmesburg, is contained, Gilliam said.
