Flooding closes part of Route 130 in South Jersey

Part of Route 130 in South Jersey is closed due to flooding this morning.

With heavy rain expected in the Philadelphia region for most of the day, sections of the busy highway were shut down in both directions before the morning rush.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation said U.S. 130 was closed near Brooklawn. Detours are in place.

Several motorists reportedly had to be rescued from the flooded roadway overnight in that area.
