Five football players from Delaware State University have been charged with burglarizing several rooms at a University of Delaware residence hall.

University of Delaware police allege that the five took video game systems and laptop computers from two apartments at the Christiana West Tower dormitory on the school's Newark campus on May 18.

Police said 21-year-old Cameren Judge, 20-year-old Gabriel Sherrod, 20-year-old Rashawn Barrett and 23-year-old Shubasz Gordon are facing charges of burglary, theft and conspiracy. Malik Golson, 19, faces charges of receiving stolen property.

All five are listed on Delaware State's football team roster.

Police didn't say what brought the Delaware State players to the University of Delaware campus.
