1 dead in collapse in Cherry Hill

A contractor was killed in a collapse at a construction site in Cherry Hill this afternoon.

The incident was reported on the 500 block of Route 38. The collapse happened at a former Blockbuster video store that was being demolished.

Ambulances were called to scene of the collapse. At least one person was taken to a hospital.

A Wawa convenience store was being planned for the site.
