I-476 North in Delco reopens after crash

Northbound lanes on Interstate 476 in Delaware County have reopened after a serious crash that shut down the highway during the morning rush.

PennDOT said traffic began moving again at about 7:45 a.m. All northbound lanes between Exit 9 (for State Route 3) in Broomall and Exit 13 (for U.S. Route 30) near Villanova had been closed for nearly an hour.

Traffic remains backed up in the area, and motorists should expect continued delays.
