Community College of Philadelphia closed today

The Community College of Philadelphia is closed today due to a power outage.

The school says all day and evening classes at its main campus are canceled. The closure had initially been in place until noon, but was extended after the outage persisted.

Only the main campus at 17th and Spring Garden streets is affected. The college's three regional centers are open.

A college spokeswoman said classes are expected to resume on Tuesday.
