Runners are finding out today whether they've gotten a spot in this year's Blue Cross Broad Street Run.
Runners who signed up during the two-week registration period can also check their status -- or check to see if family and friends made it in -- on the race's website.
Veteran Broad Street racers -- those who have run the race at least 10 times -- are guaranteed entry, even if not selected through the lottery. Any veteran runner who didn't get in should email email@example.com by March 1.
Some charities also still have race bibs available for runners who want to raise funds. The Broad Street Run's charity partners are the American Cancer Society, Back on My Feet, Students Run Philly Style and the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
This year's Broad Street Run will take place on May 4.
Last year, more than 38,000 runners finished the race.
