Bolaris: Summer enters second half, but beautiful weather holds on

Why does summer fly and winter drags on and on and on?

Real simple answer: The weather is better.

I know, I'm a real rocket scientist.

With this weekend included, we are five weekends away from the unofficial end of summer -- "The Labor Day Weekend."

Thoughts now turn from: planning the great weekend Down the Shore; sharing your shore house with who knows who and the ensuing breakfast chatter the next day; the kids having the time of their lives building sand castles (with a lot of help from the old man).

And our thoughts turn toward "E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!" as the Phillies fade into once upon Amaro.

But for now, a great weekend forecast lies ahead.

A wonderful weather trifecta will greet us Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A good amount of sunshine from the mountains to the shore with temperatures mainly in the 80s and low humidity.
