Beating death at the ballpark
A bachelor party turned deadly outside Citizens Bank Park on the night of Saturday, July 25, 2009. Spilled beer led to a confrontation with another group of men inside McFadden's bar and restaurant at the ballpark, which then spilled into a parking lot outside, where David Sale, 22, of Lansdale, was pummeled and kicked until he lost consciousness. Three men - Francis Kirchner, Charles Bower and Jim Grove - have been charged in his death, according to police.
