Amber Alert issued for missing Smyrna children

Delaware State Police have issued an Amber Alert for missing Smyrna children Colette Hamilton, 4, and Cortez Hamilton Jr., 4 months, along with their mother, 35-year-old Keisha Hamilton.

Delaware State Police have issued an Amber Alert for two children reported missing from their Smyrna home.

Colette Hamilton, 4, and Cortez Hamilton Jr., 4 months, were last seen around 10 p.m. Friday at their home on the 100 block of East Cayhill Lane in the Twin Willows development, police said.

Detectives believe the children may be in imminent danger.

They are believed to with their mother, 35-year-old Keisha Hamilton, who is also missing, police said.

The family might be in the company of the children's father, 32-year-old Cortez A. Hamilton Sr., according to investigators.

They are possibly traveling in a red 2005 Chevrolet Suburban with Delaware registration PC121071, or a silver 2010 Toyota Matrix with Delaware registration XP219435, police said.

Both children have black hair and brown eyes. Keisha Hamilton is described as a 5-foot-6-inch tall black female, about 145 pounds, with brown hair. Cortez Hamilton Sr. is a 6-foot-tall black male weighing about 195 pounds, police said.

The investigation was being considered active and ongoing Saturday night, and authorities planned to release more information as it became available, police said.

Anyone with information on the location of the children and their mother is asked to call 911.
