Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. NFL draft: The NFL draft begins today, and the Eagles are prepared for a wide range of possibilities and surprises. Follow along with Philly.com's complete draft coverage.

2. Cheating scandal: Charges are expected to be filed against Philadelphia School District teachers and other employees in a cheating scandal, and at least on educator has been told to turn herself in to police this morning.

3. Commencement speaker controversies: Days after former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice bowed out of speaking at Rutgers University's commencement ceremony due to protests, students at Haverford College are expressing distaste with their speaker, former University of California-Berkeley chancellor Robert Birgeneau. Haverford's president has called a meeting for the campus community for this evening.

4. Comcast hearing: The U.S. House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing today about Comcast Corp.'s proposed merger with Time Warner Cable.

5. Pa. gubernatorial debate: Democrats running for governor in Pennsylvania will debate in Philadelphia this afternoon. The forum at WPVI is scheduled to air on Saturday and Sunday.
