27 displaced in arson fire at Bensalem apartments

More than two dozen people have been displaced by a fire at a Bensalem apartment complex that investigators believe was intentionally set.

The fire was reported around 11 p.m. at the Bensalem Court apartments on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue.

Fire officials said the blaze had been ruled an arson.

The Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania said it was helping 27 people who had been displaced by the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The blaze was contained to a boiler room, the fire department said, but several apartments sustained smoke damage.
