Bandits with assault rifle hit Wild and Crazy beauty shop
Two masked and hooded men, one armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, burst into the Wild and Crazy Beauty Supply Store in North Philadelphia, demanded money, and fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police said
The incident began about 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday when the pair entered the shop on the 4300 block of North Broad Street. As one man served as lookout at the front door, the other aimed the assault rifle at store employees as he ordered them to empty the cash register, police said. After filling a dark-colored bag, the two bandits ran out of the shop.
Police described the suspects as black males, in their late teens or early 20s and of medium build. The armed man covered his face with a black neoprene ski mask, wore a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and Armani Exchange belt and dark colored sneakers. His accomplice covered his face with an animal print mask and wore a grey hooded sweatshirt with “Adidas” emblazoned on the front, and grey sneakers with bright red shoelaces.
