Voorhees resident dies when Range Rover strikes trees

A Voorhees resident died in a car crash near Kresson Golf Course Sunday morning, according to police.

The crash occurred on Kresson-Gibbsboro Road in Voorhees around 10:24 a.m., police said in a news release. The driver of a 2009 Range Rover veered off the road and struck several trees. Medical responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene, police said.

Police did not provide any additional information about the driver - such as name, age, or gender - and did not reply to messages seeking additional comment. They did say the driver was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
