Teen shot and killed in Mayfair
A 14-year-old boy died after being shot Monday night in the city's Mayfair section, police said. The teen was shot three times in the chest and torso by two unknown assailants around 9 p.m. in the 6200 block of Brous Street, police said. He was rushed by police to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus where he was pronounced dead at 9:37 p.m.

The teen, identified Tuesday as Ian Wilsey, lived about a mile and a half away in the Northeast on the 1700 block of Cottman Avenue.
"We don't know why he was here," said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
Small said witnesses reported seeing two males getting out of a car and then fleeing in the vehicle after the shooting.
