A teacher's aide at a Chester County high school was arrested Wednesday for allegedly having sexual contact with two male students.

Sheri Maufort, 42, of West Chester, had worked since 2015 at Unionville High School. She was a substitute teacher's aide in August and September when she allegedly kissed the students, and performed oral sex on one and touched the other's genitals.

Maufort's husband allegedly drove one of the students home after one incident.

She was charged with institutional sexual assault, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children, and related charges.

According to police, Maufort drove to the home of the first victim, who was under 18, one evening and texted him to come outside to meet her. She drove the victim out of his neighborhood, and gave him beer and liquor and told him to "drink up," police said. She parked at a restaurant in Birmingham Township, Chester County, according to a criminal complaint.

She took the victim, who became intoxicated, into a field, kissed him, and performed oral sex on him, telling him not to tell anyone, police said. The teen was concerned someone might see them and asked her to stop, police said.

Maufort's husband then came to the restaurant and drove the teen home, according to police. Before the student left, police said, Maufort told him to call her when he turned 18.

About three weeks later, the other student ran into Maufort while he was at a party after a high school football game. Maufort drove the student, who was 18, away from the party, parked her vehicle, and kissed him, according to police. She also touched his penis, police said. She then drove the student back to the party.

The incidents were reported to law enforcement on Nov. 11, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office. Chester County detectives and the Pennsylvania State Police investigated.

John Sanville, superintendent of the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, said in a statement that district officials were grateful for law enforcement's quick response.

"We will now begin the difficult task of addressing this incident with our students, parents, and teachers," he said.
