About four minutes after that stabbing, police responded to another on the 5800 block of Delancey Street. There, they found a 48-year-old man outside, stabbed once in the lower back by his wife, police said.

The husband was taken by medics to Penn Presbyterian in stable condition. Police said no weapon was recovered, but the woman, whose name was not released, was arrested.

Two separate shootings around midnight in Kensington and North Philadelphia also left two victims in stable condition, police said.

About 11:30 p.m. Friday, police found a 52-year-old man shot twice in the upper right arm and once in the left thigh on the 3500 block of Braddock Street in Kensington. The victim, who was taken by police to Temple University Hospital in stable condition, was shot during a robbery, police said.
