A federal judge in Philadelphia on Friday set a December sentencing date for former U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah, who was convicted in June of public corruption.

Fattah will appear before U.S. District Court Judge Harvey Bartle III on Dec. 12 to learn his fate.

On Thursday, Bartle overturned four counts of fraud and falsifying records against Fattah, but upheld 18 other counts, including racketeering conspiracy, money laundering, and fraud. Fattah could be sentenced to as much as 20 years in prison.

Bartle also upheld a bribery conviction for Herbert Vederman, a wealthy Fattah supporter, but the judge overturned the jury's verdict on the more serious charge of racketeering conspiracy.

No date has been set for Vederman's sentencing.
