Man hospitalized after Port Richmond shooting

A man was shot twice - in the back and in the head - Sunday in Port Richmond, police said.

The 30-year-old man, whose name was not released by police, was in critical but stable condition at Temple University Hospital, officers reported.

The shooting occurred about 12:49 p.m. on the 2900 block of Martha Street, police said. No arrests have been made and no weapon was recovered. Jason Laughlin
